A Community Builder and Health Advocate
Growing up Jake Fitsemanu’s home was always full. A seemingly never-ending stream of family and friends staying with him. His parents always had an open door and a commitment to the importance of sharing everything they had. Their commitment to lending a helping hand and their belief in the strength of collective power left an indelible mark on Jake. This experience has encouraged him to lead a life of service.
He has spent his career working in community health advocacy. In addition to numerous boards, he has been serving on the West Valley City Council since 2018. As a long-time West Valley City resident he is passionate about ensuring that West Valley Residents' voices are heard. Jake is not just passionate about community but a dedicated member of his own. He is ready to serve his community next at the State Legislature prioritizing service and solutions.
